I often get asked, “What is a brand photography session?” and the simple answer is…it’s a photography session to show off the awesome work that you do and for potential clientele to see what a bad ass you are. 

Today’s blog post is all about Brand Photography Sessions: what is a brand photography session, the difference between brand sessions and typical headshots, and 5 reasons on why you need one!

Well, what is it?!

Brand Photography is a photography session that will give you consistent imagery to use for websites, blog posts, social media, printing, and more.
Brand photos are an integral part of creating a cohesive brand which in turn can help your business.
We are visual creatures, and potential clientele want to see who you are, what your business does, how your products are made and so much more.

What is the difference between a headshot session and a brand session?

Headshots are really great for things like LinkedIn, or maybe on your website for your About Me page. But a Brand Session will give you that and so much more. We want to see you in action. We want to see you with clients, making your product, interacting with your team, etc.

Here is a perfect example from a recent session we did for Dr. Ashtiani with Essence Chiropractic and Wellness, located in San Antonio, Texas. On the left we have your typical headshot. She will use this for her About Me page, LinkedIn, etc. On the right we have an image from her Brand Photography Session. Dr. Ashtiani is a chiropractor that specializes in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care. For her brand session, we had maternity and children models come in so we can show Dr. Ashtiani’s potential clientele what they may experience at a session with her.
